CLEAN BURNING CANDLES YOU CAN FEEL GOOD ABOUT

Candle Care

Let's learn how to care for your candle!

Did you know that wax has memory? The first time you light your candle will be the most important one. If you extinguish your candle before the melt pool reaches the edge of the vessel, you'll end up with "tunneling". Tunneling is when the candle burns down the middle instead of creating an even melt pool of wax across the entire surface. Leave it lit until the melt pool reaches the edge. Your candle will last longer this way.

ALWAYS trim your wick to 1/4" before relighting. You can use a pair of scissors, your fingers or you can be super fancy and get yourself a pair of wick trimmers. Not only will this extend the life of your candle, you'll reduce soot and keep your candle burning smoothly.
